Amanda is a qualified & registered animal behaviourist & trainer, and has been in practice for 14 years. While home training affords your dog the ability to learn at their own pace, learning capability is generally increased because more can be covered with individual training.. For this reason fewer repeat sessions are typically necessary when home training. For home consultations, a straight forward and personalised behaviour modification plan is put together for you to follow. By the end of your session, your canine companion will be on their road to improvement or recovery, and you will understand how to guide or help them as they continue to improve. Depending on the severity or complexity of your dog’s behaviour/s, it typically takes a few days to a couple of weeks for behaviours to become non existent. In most cases however, an almost immediate improvement is obvious. Canine Companion uses and encourages positive reinforcement training techniques.
